THE ELSIE BOWERMAN BLUE PLAQUE A Blue Plaque will be unveiled on 19th November 2005 at 1pm at 23 Silchester Road, St Leonards, England, in memory of Miss Elsie Bowerman LLD; Senior of Wycombe Abbey School, Suffragette, Titanic survivor, barrister and first head of the United Nations Section on the Status of Women. Afterwards there will be a meeting, refreshments and a talk about her life.
